Synopsis:

 
  2 clients with senile dementia were given foot reflexology. One, a 82 yr old male, with apathy, hypologic and could only answer simple questions was given 90 sessions daily ; and the other, a 75 yr old teacher, with memory loss for 4 years, urinary incontinence, hypertension, a mild stroke and bedridden was given 30 sessions daily. Both improved in affection, personality and quality of daily living.

Conclusion:

 
  Foot reflexology has been shown to be effective in improving some of the symptoms associated with senile dementia.
