Synopsis:

 
  31 patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus were given foot reflexology focusing on the nervous and endocrine functions reflexes (pituitary gland, cerebellum, brainstem, cerebrum and trigeminal) to regulate organic function, enhance metabolism of protein, lipids and glucose. 25-54% of complications ranging from coronary disease to skin infections improved.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of diabetes.
