Synopsis:

 
  22 cases were diagnosed as facial paralysis of peripheral nerve with typical symptoms. Most were treated by acupuncture, medicine, and melissotherapy without effect. Only 3 cases were treated by reflex therapy directly without taking other therapies. 12 patients had paralysis on the left side of the face and 10 patients had paralysis on the right side of the face.

Conclusion:

 
  The total effective rate of the 22 cases was 100%. Cured rate was 68.2%.
