Synopsis:

 
  A male adult with gout for 5 years, and not move due to swelling and pain, was given 5 months of foot reflexology treatments after unsuccessful therapy in the hospital. Results: The patient felt better, was able to walk and move all four limbs freely. His appetite returned and he was able to sleep more soundly.

Conclusion:

 
  Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of gout.
