Synopsis:

A 31 yr old female with paroxysmal palpitation, dyspnea, and agitation for 8 years was given 30 minutes of foot reflexology with an adhesive magnetic pad on reflex points for 7 days, alternating every 7 days between both feet. During attacks, she had preexcitation syndrome causing tachycardia with a heart rate of 130-150. After 7 days, she had no further tachycardia or complaints of preexcitation syndrome after 8 months.

Conclusion:

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for relief of preexcitation syndrome.
