Synopsis:

A study was done to examine the effects of reflexology using different measuring machines and equipment before and after foot reflexology. The items were 1) a surface distribution pattern of temperature in the back and sides of the foot, and its changes tested by infrared rays. 2) tracing blood flow in peripheral blood vessels and recording its speed by an ultrasonic wave blood flow speed meter; and stability level of an autonomic nerve determined by the skin electric potential machine method.

Conclusion:

Reflexology has been shown to have some effect on processes in the human body, with the use of measuring instruments.
