Synopsis:

 
  5 cases, both female and male, ages 6-65, with drug toxic deafness from injections of penicillin for common cold with high fever were given 40 minutes of foot reflexology daily. After 14-28 days of sessions, a patient could hear someone speaking from a distance and give an answer.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of drug toxic deafness.
