Synopsis:

 
  100 cases with herpes zoster were given foot reflexology after other treatments were unsuccessful. One case, a 27 year old man with painful eruption of herpes on his left lower back distributed new and old herpes with petechia hemorrhage. After the second session, the patient was cured. Another case, a 48 year old woman, with painful eruption of herpes on her left back and inframammary region was given 2 sessions on the first and third day. After 5 days, the pain was relieved and the herpes was cured.

Conclusion:

 
  Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of herpes zoster.
