Synopsis:

 
  16 patients, both male and female, ages 10-77, with large intestine problems were treated with foot reflexology to see if they might be related to the foot reflex area for the large intestine. Positive results would be verified by the patient's self complaints or by past history records.

Conclusion:

 
 

This study revealed that foot reflexology of the large bowel and rectum have an obvious relationship with disorders of corresponding anatomic structures.
