Synopsis:

A 26 year old male teacher with quadriplegic weakness and numbness was treated with foot reflexology. Results: After the sessions, the MS symptoms were relieved, weakness decreased, and he was run and jump. The patients medication, Prednisone, was also decreased.

Conclusion:

Reflexology has been shown to be effective for the relief of the signs and symptoms of multiple sclerosis, together with corticosteroid treatment. Reflexology also accelerated the rate at which the cortiosteroid doses could be reduced and then stopped.
