Chen, Y., "Effect of Foot Reflexology Massage on Pseudomyopia." 1994 China Reflexology Symposium Report, Beijing : China Reflexology Association, page 126
10 school children, both male and female, ages 10-20, who had pseudomyopia (eye condition) were given 10 sessions of foot reflexology separated by two days of rest. Five recovered visual acuity of 1.5, two had 1.2, two improved by 0.3, 0.5, and 1 by 0.2. During the sessions, they did not wear their glasses and the eyes were prevented from overuse. Improvement was 100% in all cases.
Foot reflexology was shown to be effective for relief of pseudomyopia in all 10 cases.
