A 46 year old female with myalgic encephalomyelitis for 2 years was treated unsuccessfully with anti-anxiety drugs and muscle relaxants. After 6 weeks of treatments, her health and attitude greatly improved. Her therapy went on for several months- every 2-3 weeks and then every 6 weeks. She eventually returned to her daily activities and is cured.

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of myalgic encephalomyelitis.
