Patients with headaches and post-operative gynecological surgery were given foot reflexology. Both of the two pilot studies of patients were able to reduce their need for medication and had no side effects from the reflexology.

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of headaches and post operative gynecological surgeries, thereby reducing need for medication.
