Wa, G., Haige, L., Lan, Q., "Analysis of the Therapeutic Effect of Treating Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands with Reflexotherapy." 2002 China Reflexology Symposium Report, Beijing, China Reflexology Association, pages 23-24.

Hyperplasia of mammary glands, as a result of endocrine disorder, is a common disease among climactic and pre-climactic females. The authors set an active group of 96 cases as Group A that were treated with reflexotherapy and a control group of 505 cases as Group B treated with conventional medicine to make a comparative study of the therapeutic effects.

The manifestations of the various degrees of hyperplasia in x-ray, local palpation, and pathological signs discovered on Breast reflex were different.
