Study Conducted:

China   Biology Department of Ningxia Agricultural College

Ma, D., Wang, X., Ma, J., Shi, X., and Liu, J., "Point-Temperature Test of Foot Reflex Zone." 1994 China Reflexology Symposium Report. Beijing: China Reflexology Association, pages 155-159.

50 patients were treated with foot reflexology focusing on 2196 reflex areas to see if there was a difference between normal reflex areas and pathologic reflex areas. These were based on average point-temperature measurements. Results: significant difference between the two.

Reflexology confirms symptoms related to zones, but needs further research.
