Synopsis:

 
  10 cases, both male and female, ages 8-74, with paralysis (8 from a stroke, 2 from encephalitis B) were given foot reflexology along with acupuncture to the head, soaking feet in saline solution, rotating ankle joints, and twisting or twirling the needle for up to 10 minutes. All cases showed imrprovement.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology used in conjunction with head acupuncture, was found to be effective for the relief of paralysis after stroke and encephalitis B.
