Synopsis:

 
  A 49 yr old woman with hypertension for 5 years had a sudden onset of blurred speech and left hemiparesis, Brain computerized tomography revealed lucuman infarct in right basal ganglier. The patient was given 30 minutes of foot reflexology two times a day for 13 days. The procedure was done slowly and gently at first, then stronger focusing on the reflexes for kidney, ureters, urinary bladder, head, cerebellum and brain stem on right foot. The patient completely recovered and was released from hospital.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology massage was found to be effective in providing relief of cerebral infarction.
