Synopsis:

 
  Cancer patients were given foot reflexology during chemotherapy treatments for rectal, breast and gastric cancers. One had right breast cancer underwent surgery and chemotherapy. She recovered somewhat but later showed a decrease in her white blood cell count. Chemotherapy was discontinued and foot reflexology was administered. The white blood cell count rose and chemotherapy was re-administered. Within the third to sixth treatment of chemo, the patient had a no further reactions and her white blood cell count remained high.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of the symptoms associated with chemotherapy in cancer patients.
