Synopsis:

 
  21 patients who had chemotherapy for malignant tumors were divided into 2 groups. Twelve were given foot reflexology and 9 had chemotherapy only. The side effects they had from the chemotherapy (anorexia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, muscular pain, headache, insomnia and weakness improved greatly over time with those receiving foot reflexology compared to the other group.

Conclusion:

 
 

Reflexology has been shown to be effective for the relief of the adverse side effects induced by chemotherapy.
