Synopsis:

 
  A 26 yr old male with pain and numbness in lumbar and leg regions, was bedridden and had difficulty in eliminating and slight muscular atrophy in both lower extremities. Conservative treatment was unsuccessful and he underwent surgery for a lesion at T11-12. He was given 40 minutes of foot reflexology daily for 4 months, then 2 times a week for one hour along with using Chinese herbs and Qi Gong. Results: The patient improved and was able to walk freely and work indoors.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology was found to be effective in combination with Chinese herbs and Qi Gong as it enhances the immune system to combat the condition of Intramedullary Glioma in Comus Medulleris.
