Synopsis:

 
  137 cases, both male and female, were given 30 minutes foot reflexology and massage on acupoints and other holographic reflex areas for 11 sessions. Results: 103 cases (75%) had significant effect (including full recovery). 24 cases (18%) effective, 10 cases (7%) had no effect. (Cases of sciatica due to hyperostegeny of lumbar vertebrae required long term massage)

Conclusion:

 
 

Reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of lumbocrural pain.
