Synopsis:

 
  A 59 yr old male with a compression fracture of the first lumbar vertebrae and paralyzed right leg was given foot reflexology daily for 20 days. He had 2 follow-up; and on the second one, his symptoms disappeared and he showed an increase in thickness of his right leg.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of sequelae of a first lumbar vertebrae compression fracture.
