Synopsis:

10 women, ages 17-26, with dysmenstruation, were given 5-10 minutes only of foot reflexology. Three had previously been given western or Chinese therapies without success. They did not have time for whole foot; therefore, they focused on the pituitary gland, lower abdomen, sex glands, uterus and adrenal glands reflex zones and experienced an analgesic effect very quickly.

Conclusion:

Foot reflexology was found to be effective for the relief of dysmenstruation.
