Synopsis:

30 women, ages 18-40, with PMS were given reflexology in this pilot study by FDZ-Fuenen Regional Committee in 1995-1997. Twenty-one reflexologists treated these women while they kept PMS diaries. There were 3 stages: Phase one had 2 menstruation cycles before reflexology was given for a baseline; Phase two had 4 menstrual cycles and reflexology was given; and Phase three had 6 menstrual cycles after reflexology sessions. During this third phase, all the women were asked to fill out a questionnaire to submit along with the PMS diaries.
