Synopsis:

 
  36 cases, both male and female, ages 20 days to 3 years old, with infantile myogenic torticollis (14 cases, the neck deviated to the right side and 22 cases, the neck deviated to the left side) were given 1-2 minutes of foot reflexology along with infantile tuina (massage) and hot compresses of Chinese herbs twice a day for 2-4 weeks focusing on the head, cervical vertebrae, neck, thyroid gland, trapezoid muscle, coccyx, liver, gallbladder, spleen reflexes with excellent results in 15 cases.

Conclusion:

 
 

Foot reflexology, in conjunction with the use of tuina (massage) and hot compresses of Chinese herbs, was found to be effective for the relief of infantile myogenic torticollis.
